How do you feel when you look on the bright side of a situation? What changes for you when you decide to see others for who they truly are, and stop focusing on their qualities that drive you mad?
There is an abundance of light and dark in our world and we get to experience both – as well as every shade in between. It is a relief when we realize we are explorers in life. We get to decide whether we take steps forward towards the light or the dark. We choose whether we see dark clouds around us and in other people; or whether we see brilliance in others and feel connected by the common thread we all share.
We don’t have to fear darkness or even turn away from it. Dark times often bring us the most beautiful opportunities to learn and grow. Dark times can help us remember as long as we are living, there will always be light we can turn towards. There will always be opportunities to experience life in a joyful, abundant way.
When we view others through a dark veil, we often trigger uncomfortable feelings within us that are hard to shake. These feelings can be used as reminders it is time to look on the bright side and focus on what we do like about others. When we start noticing the light and love in others, we begin to experience more of the same in ourselves. The more we look on the bright side, the easier it becomes to move forward in life in a peaceful way.
When we are ready, we can experience life in an array of dazzling colours. We can start to notice how simple life becomes when we look on the bright side.
How might you ignite your light and experience life in all of its brilliance?
