Joyful Habits

Keeping Life Simple is a Choice

How do you spend your time? Does it feel like you never have enough time or that life is overly-complicated?

Each of us has been gifted the power to manage our lives however we choose. Sometimes we can lose sight of this. We can forget we are the ones feeding the illusion of whether life is simple or complicated.

We create the tone of our experience through our mindset, beliefs, and what we choose to spend our time focused on.

If you yearn for more simplicity and peace in your life, you can design your life to have more lightness and joy – you can keep life simple. Often it is a matter of remembering and believing you have some say and choice in how you receive life.

I welcome more quiet and ease in my thoughts, by becoming laser focused on the language and energy I am giving out. Instead of feeding more energy to the story that I am so busy, overwhelmed, stressed etc. I get quiet or start saying things like:  I am simplifying life. I am not taking on new things right now. I am doing enough. I have enough. I am enough. I love how things have a way of coming together.

When we become aware of our thoughts and words, we can get back in the driver’s seat of our life and steer our path towards more simplicity and joy.

What about you, what kinds of thoughts and stories might support you in enjoying simplicity and ease in your life?
