What are some of the things you could do today to HAVE FUN?

Every day is an opportunity to experience fun and laughter. Sometimes it can be easy to forget just how simple it is to enjoy some fun. Having fun doesn’t need to be reserved for an ‘event’, it can be as straightforward as adding in an element of fun in our attitude and the way we interact with others. This mindset and behaviour is contagious, and I can’t think of a better thing to spread out than pure joy and fun!

How we go about creating our fun is as unique as we are. Where I live, today is the last day of school before spring break. There is a high level of excitement at my house and my kids are helping to spread this feeling around. We plan extend our fun through to tonight by celebrating a birthday of one of our good friends. Then we have two weeks planned with nothing but fun.

In planning our departure from routine and inviting in the fun, I realized how much room there is to do this in my life on a more regular basis. I really do believe that what we put our focus on, we start creating more of in our life.

Adding in more lightness, fun and joy is certainly something worth putting our focus on and growing in our lives. So whatever it is you are up to in your part of the world, see what happens when you shift your focus and add in more fun, even if it is in your thoughts, or conversations you have with others.
