It is Thanksgiving in Canada ~ Happy Thanksgiving to everyone living in Canada, as well as all Canadians living abroad.
It is a wonderful day to be reminded of all of the many things to be grateful for. A gratitude practice is something we can integrate into every day living.
Here is one of my favorite activities that helps children and their families foster an ‘attitude of gratitude’ from one of our published Children’s titles, ‘Grateful Jake’.
We found and decorated our family gratitude rock over three years ago, and it still comes out at meal times for everyone in the family to share something they are grateful for in their day…it is simple, effective and meaningful.
Grateful Jake is available on Amazon as well as through other major online retailers. We also created sound for it for the iPad edition. The activity I have presented here is in the Resource guide, print version on Amazon, or free edition on the iBook store for iPad. Thank YOU!!
