If you could be anything in life, what might happen if you chose to Be Love?
We make choices in all of our interactions to either spread out kindness and love – or not. Every person we come in contact with can be affected by our small gestures. Sharing a smile, opening the door, helping someone in need, being patient, giving others the gift of our time and attention, are just some of the examples of how we can be love.
The way we share this out doesn’t require over the top gestures. I’ve noticed that being love doesn’t have a romantic tone to it either. It’s more about being gentle, present, open and kind. It’s giving ourselves the gift of experiencing this state of being, and it’s sharing it out in an effort to have others remember that they too can access this place within themselves and experience it firsthand.
When we communicate with our loved ones from this place of love, it helps create peaceful and kind home environments too. I’ve noticed that when I am feeling really busy with so much to do and I talk to my kids and family from this place, it spreads more of that high tension energy out. When I just pause and let go of whatever is going on for me in the moment, take a deep breath, and then communicate from this place, it feels so much better. I have noticed, especially in my children, that they reciprocate the same kind of tone and behaviour I share with them.
I can’t help but see how much we all influence one another, even if only in subtle ways. The question then becomes: Why not share more love and acceptance out into the world? It seems that now more than ever, the world could use a little more of us sharing our capacity to love and be kind. Perhaps this may help tip the scales back to how we are meant to be feeling while we are alive. How might you be love today?
